Looks like it is a mintnet problem. As far I diagnosed two problems: 1. Modern SLIP.XIF when using PPP connection - to avoid it I use older SLIP.XIF (from 1.15 kernel) - with new SLIP.XIF speed goes to craw after transfering few KB. 2.
