  Obviously, I'm doing an all nighter here.  As I didn't notice that quickz=
ero=20
is doing it's movem 8 times, 4*8*8 =3D 256.  But, for some reason this prec=
ise=20
routine bzero is writing beyond it's boundaries in the arp_alloc routine. =

Commenting out bzero, it works perfectly.
