It is used by lots of people around the world becouse freshmeat "knows" almost all software. Users may also "subscribe" software so they will be send an email when a new version is released (might be usefull for maintainig SpareMiNT) I think it would be resonable to add FreeMiNT to Freshmeat. I know that 99.99% people browsing freshmeat will ase: "Gee? What? Atari? Wasnt that a gaming machine in the eighties?", but why not make some noise? I would like to do it. Really. Serious ;) Therfore I need to submit some data for it (and I'd like to discuss it): Full project name: FreeMiNT Operating System Short project name: FreeMiNT Full description: (I await your advise on this) Short description: Unix like OS for 16/32 bit Ataris and clones (with TOS compatibility) Name of author: (my proposal is: FreeMiNT Team) Email address: (hmm... may be left blank) Now, we have branches information. I would assume that "default" "stable" is 1.15.12 The problem may be: License: (hmmm... here we can only choose, I think that correct would be: "Other/Proprietary License with Source") We can also post screenshoot... anyone can propose something? -- Semper Fidelis Adam Klobukowski atari@gabo.pl
