More information is required. This is being typed in a 55 line=20
Toswin window on a TT with a TTM195 monitor, by telnet to a shell=20
host running pine. I do have to tell that BSD (bash) shell to=20
stty rows 55 to get 55 lines to my toswin window.

I logged off for a minute to run man pppd, and got a 55 line=20
display. The man I have comes from the EasyMiNT distribution.

pico and more and less give me 55 line displays, from a 55-line=20
toswin window. The others I have not used.

It is possible that the problem you report is somewhat unique,=20
and is at your end. How was man installed? Have you tried "stty=20
rows 55" before starting man, and what happens if you do?

Hardware, please?
