Hey guys,

I was looking around on the current situation we have with binutils and
I found this very relevant thread.

Anyway, this thread makes it sound like it's a bug in gas that can
either be fixed in gas or worked around in gcc.  To those who are more
knowledgeable am I just beating a dead horse or is this new helpful
info?
