The bug is in mintlib.  I did a make install after compiling mintlib
myself at some point.  I couldn't even tell you if it's a current bug or
what, but the mintlib in sparemint is good.  I'll put out fixed binutils
packages.  There's probably some other packages that I built that should
be rebuilt now.
