I'm off now to compile gcc 4.2.3 with MINKEEP set at 64K and the
original crt0.S and will report back what I find.
OK, this would be good idea, I don't remember if anyone else tested full bootstrap except me and Keith. Be sure you have TPA = 1 MB. And don't forget to make place for at least 1.5 GB :)

Except that crt0.S you use mintlib from cvs, right?
