Hello!

The 68881/68882 are always optional (they are separate FPUs). 68881/68881
can only be used together with the 68020/68030. The 68000 can't use the
68881 like the 68020/68030 (must be adresses like a separate I/O device).

For the 68040 and 68060 the situation is different. There are several CPU
configurations available. In a Milan you can install a 68040 with or
without a FPU. The full processor version is named 68RC040, the version
without the FPU is named 68LC040. Same for the 68060. If I remember
correctly there are also CPU versions without the MMU (but such CPUs can't
be used anyway I think).

For Milan/Hades you can use both CPU versions (with/without FPU).
For Afterburner too.
For ct60 I don't know (I expect the CPU without FPU can be used too).

> Is there some CPU where the FPU is always present ?

Not for the 68000 series :-)

Regards,
Frank
