It is a compaq dl360 that I got for free because the raid controller in it is bad. So I put an eSATA card in it and attached an external sata drive in a LaCie case. The LaCie case doesn't auto power back on after power failure while the server does. I don't check up on it except for every couple days which sucks for me because I do some very important (to me) daily data archival on that box as well. The LaCie case doesn't auto power back on after power failure while the server does. I don't check up on it except for every couple days which sucks for me because I do some very important (to me) daily data archival on that box as well. OT but that box is really amazing since it runs a Fedora foundation with windows in a VM, 2 instances of aranym which are both busily being used and a data processing program which programs and archives gigs of data per day. Every now and then I run an analysis against that mysql stored data so if the server ever gets slow for the guys using it, that's why ;) I do need to get serial connected UPS on that and my fios connection so it can text me when my power is going out to remind me to power it all back up. My fios connection has a built in UPS but only for telephone service. How lame. I should also probably start backing up that drive too. Thanks, Mark
