is there any way to generate the sources used to compile the different
MiNT versions, as preparsed by the compiler (ie after #IF processing)

a resulting diff between a "good" 040 kernel may show something, also
a diff at the same level against the same kernel from 1.16 may also
turn some thing up..

alternatively, is it possible to find all ARAnyM related #IF related
to 040 and was this kernel (ARAnyM) supported in 1.16.

I can do the source code comparisons, and post any thing relavant, if
"research voluteers" are needed..
