I guess for the cracks here its really obvious, but hey - not everyone is such a crack :) Greetings, Stefan --------------000608050302070508060407 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Jo Even Skarstein schrieb:

I installed it on Monday, but didn't test it until now. I checked out
FreeMiNT from the CVS as a test, and compilation is really fast.
However, ld fails with the following message when attempting to link the
kernel:

/usr/lib/gcc/m68k-atari-mint/4.4.2/../../../../m68k-atari-mint/bin/ld:
cannot find -lgcc16

What did I do wrong? I used the 'CROSS=yes' option.

I simply symlinked the libs in mshort to *16-variants. It's probably not
how it's supposed to work, but I managed to compile FreeMiNT.

And does your compile run as expected? Which branch did you checkout?
And, last question: Could you explain how to make those symlinks and what that workaround does in the end?

I guess for the cracks here its really obvious, but hey - not everyone is such a crack :)
