When looking at the following site, http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=37 I see that the timezone in Germany is the same as in France. Standard timezone (in winter): UTC+1 During summer (like now): UTC+2 If I look at the headers of the message I'm replying to, I see this: Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 22:23:39 +0300 Helmut, your local clock seems to be correct, but your timezone settings is not. The +0300 at the end of your header indicates you are set to UTC+2 with summer time (or UTC+3), but it should be set to UTC+1 with summer time. That timezone is used by mailers to adjust the date displayed for messages. Normally you should see something like 20:53 for this message, since it is my local time and we are in the same timezone. -- Vincent Rivière
