Should it be removed, updated or replaced with something in the mantis system. I think this has been the busiest month on record on the mintlist. I think we should just make a FreeMint release now so that someone can go through the process. The version I am using is very stable. It would be good to have an official release and well publicised. Then any serious bugs can be fixed and we can work from there instead of from the position of a version that has had thousands of changes since the 6-8 years old last release. The original distro might need a bit of a re-org and perhaps much later I would like to see a simple (GEMScript ?) installer. It would just make a copy of the existing 1-xx-cur folder and overwrite the old km, xdd, xfs, xif files etc. with new ones. Backup the mint.org from the AUTO folder and then overwrite it. Peter
