If you do the same in 1.16.3 then Arcview works fine. Also, if you try to extract the same files twice then it will complain when it tries to overwrite the files that you cannot see. I am not even sure they are really there but the unzip tool called by Arcview seems to think they are. I just extracted loopwave.gtp and then went into Everest and saved a file to /r called loopwave.gtp and it doesn't complain, the file is created. This is a really odd one. Peter
