That's why some have probs, some >don't I assume. > Logically the kill sequence would enumerate the processes PID. So I changed my sequence of start up applications in my XaAES CNF file whereby the PID will change. The bubblegem and boxkite was the last 2 application started. i move them to the front, infront of Taskbar & toswin2. Now when I do a reboot via Task Manager, I see the AES apps in tasklist get killed. Then screen goes while and cursor blink at home position. I do a CTRL-ALT-DEL to possibly kill the hanging task. Then I see boxkite name listed followed by xaloader and the rest of the apps name displayed. Then syncing to my drive. Then DONE Then reboot... !! So changing the startup sequence seems to help in rebooting. Note, even after changing the startup sequence of bubblegem & boxkite, when a Shutdown via Teradesk or SHUTDOWN program or CTRL-ALT-DEL ( at the desktop ) all will just sent a SIGTERM to running apps and then hang. rgds WongCK
